This is the first HP/Starwars crossover I ever read. I think i found it recommended on one of the Yahoo Groups I've subscribed and, well, I rather enjoy it. The latest chapter was online yesterday, and I can't wait for more updates... Check here : The...

The Original Naked Quidditch Match : Yet Another Great Humorous Fic From Hell ! It all begins with a bet, lost by Gred & Forge, and the Griffindor Quidditch Team is committed to play Slytherin naked. So far, the plot bunny is not astonishing. But the...

HP and the Alternate Universe

I've been reading "Harry Potter and the Alternate universe - Year 6" from Piccolo999 on Portkey. It's a H/Hr, where HP is in Slytherin, smarter than Canon, quite the loner apart a curious friendship whith one Draco Malfoy, higlhy Out-of Character. Harry...

Mobile fanfiction

The TGV heads towards Paris at 300Km/h. And my mobile phone gets the next chapter of "The forgotten Girl" (By SSHenry on Siye). A nice thing, second issue of a multi part story (HP/GW, AU, starts summer after CS).Quite pleasant to read, but my HTC phone...

Are they kidding?

Emma-Watson.net reported an interview from Yates about the last scene shot for HP and it's allegedly a scene on the viaduct outside Hogwarts. What puzzles me is that a few months ago, a scene in Part 1 (when they flee (by floo) the ministry ) was presented...

Honestly?!

"Not quiet the same thing, but some people do wonder there when they sleep." Two misnapes in a single sentence, this one is a gemstone! I don't think the frenchisms in my story matches it (yeah, it's a sad thought, even my mistakes are lame. And btw,...

Breaking Forwards

That’s a pretty disturbing story I’m reviewing today. It’s called Breaking Forwards by Lastcrazyhorn, a story on abuses (plural), violence, psychological warfare. Featuring an Evil!Ron, in a way he’s more a sick bastard than anything, it’s worth a read...

Unspoken Words

A quick recomendation, "Unspoken Words" from Rex Tims. A silent Harry comes to Hogwarts. WIP, second year starts in next chapter: likely H/Hr, very original and well thought. Chapter 12 of SRW is growing steadilly, should be off next week: I've got to...

Done

Okay, I'm home back from the theatre.Although it pains me, I must admit that 7.1 is the best Harry Potter movie so far.But now that my disbelief is no longer suspended, I'm rather in a sour mood. Life had been sucking for a while, and then DH was released,...

I must be growing old

I've wasted a couple hours reading an unusual story, a Artemis Fowl/Harry Potter crossover, "Fairy Dust", by Exentrikmuse. It's well written, very original, but...my disbelief was not suspended enough. The basics are consistent, after all, both Harry...

A Kill Bill/Harry Potter crossover. You name it, you go it ; "To Kill Harry" Otherwise, I still recover from eye surgery. Worked quite well, so I can now read in total cozyness "real books", so I spend less time on my laptop, hence reading less fanfiction...This...

The Strange Disappearance of SallyAnne Perks

This is the most original plot I was lucky enough to read for months. Based on a distant discrepancy in the books, "The Strange Disappearance of SallyAnne Perks" by Paimpont is quite the mystery. And we'll have to hang on our "story alerts" to have it...

Potter's Resistance

I've already written about "Potter Resistance" (see this post below). I've reached the current status, I second my initial review, the story is well done, but it's one of those where the author goes deep into many details, including his own theory of...

Random (or not) little things.

If you want a quick laugh, I suggest "Dear Uncle Vernon" by Professor Of Muggle Studies". It's a short variation of the good old "I'm filthy rich, own #4 and Gringott's, and you were bloody well paid for my care and now I'm in no mood for forgiveness"...

Harry Potter kicks the ass...

Harry Potter and the Marriage Contracts

This is a good one. Sensible length (71K words, 14 chapters), well written, funny, Harry Potter and the Marriage Contracts by Clell65619 (what a penname !) tells one more tale of Harry Potter (surprised ?). He did defeat the Dark Wanker, along with a...
