Two Hours Later
Okay, not so bad, I quite enjoyed it, as a matter of fact.
But still, Hermione is a pathetic whimpering lovesick idiot for quite a good part of the movie. And Lavender did raise in my opinion. I have some remarks, anyway. For instance, the color of the spell. Only the final AK has its due color, all others are white ! And Harry uses lots of stunners, and Stupefy is red Afaik.
Then, there is a tapestry with a Unicorn in front of the Room of Requirement ! What about Barnabas the Barmy and his dancing Trolls ? that's outrageous !
Abd last, in the memory scenes involving Slughorn and Riddle, I would have liked a Tom Riddle closer to it's form in CoS. After all, canonically, we have "Harry recognized Voldemort at once. His was the most handsome face..." (sorry, I'm too lazy to properly check the page in my paper copy. Just grab a file somewhere and make a search...).
Otherwise, Quidditch scenes are not enthralling, I'd have listened to a nice rendering of "Weasley is our King", and the formation flying (like some acrobatic patrol during an airshow ! was the director a fan of Breitling or Blue Angels ? Or the Patrouille de France ?) is ridiculous. The teams spend their times flying in a "V" pattern (like Canada Geese...), it does not make sense.
But there are nice stuff, like the scene when Ron is intoxicated by Romilda Vane's love potion. He is great. And in the whole, the movie makes sense.
Oh, a last one : in all the previous movies, for instance in CoS, The Burrow is bordered by trees, with groves nearby. Like this :
An now, it's in the middle of meadows and bogs ? What the hell ?
