“Prophesy” and “Metamorphamagus”

I’ve been silent for a couple days, buried in “Harry Potter and the Acceptance of Fate”, a rather good epic story, unfortunately abandoned (not updated since 2004...).
I was puzzled by a weird spelling, finding more and more occurrences of “Prophesy”. I eventually checked to discover that “Prophesy” is the verb while “Prophecy” is the noun. I’m a bit more knowledgeable in English tonight, yay !
By the way, the author has a weird spelling of Metamorphmagus. It’s curious, because while you get pathetic stuff which author is unable to put a sentence straight to save his life, or too lazy to check for canon spelling (Lu(s)cious, Legimens, Weasely…), this one is quite well written. Just “Prophesy” and “Metamorphamagus”…
