Okay, I’m quite sure these lines ring you a bell, don’t they ? It’s been what ? two and half years they’ve been published, and I just noticed something amiss.

The Hogwarts Express has just left King’s Cross, on September 1st. Whatever we can write about the weather in London, September 1st is still a summer day. I’ll agree that “evaporated in the autumn air” enhances the drama but it’s nonetheless astronomically wrong.
