This is a very original GoF alternative, exploring the subtleties of the love protection stuff.
We all know that Lilly Potter, sacrificing herself for a son, granted him a protection again Voldemort.
In this story, Darth Drafter does not split hairs and kills Harry Potter, as soon as in the prologue. But not in vain : he dies saving Gabrielle Delacour from the merpeople during the second task.
